![]() ![]() I tried deleting this folder, but it says it's already open or something. Note that AVAST was already uninstalled at this point It's not in my apps, folders, or anywhere else BAR under the section of program files (x86). I went to check program files (x86), and there's an AVAST Software folder. I'm not asked to restart or anything, and Avast Antivirus is uninstalled. This time, the antivirus uninstaller app opens up (which is supposed to happen), and once again, I'm prompted to enter safe mode. Luckily, this leads to the normal login screen, font is normal, nothing is laggy, and I can enter my password properly. Pressing AVAST just takes me to the screen that is laggy, has big font, and the password doesnt work issue. (This is before you enter your login for the laptop). ![]() One was going "into windows 10", and the other option was AVAST antivirus thingy. I can't exactly remember what was on it, but there were two options. And instead of going to the login screen, a blue screen popped up. I decide to shut down here, I mean, what else was I supposed to do? And once I did that, I turned the laptop on again. I tried both my email password (the one my laptop is linked to) and my normal password, and yet it doesn't work. Instead of the normal login screen after restarting, the font on everything is significantly larger (User name, buttons, anything on the restart screen), the entire screen is laggy, and strangest of all, MY PASSWORD DOES NOT WORK. ![]() However, they require you to restart your computer after entering safe mode. I felt like uninstalling it, so I looked up the uninstaller, then downloaded it, then attempted to uninstall it. (Pretty sure everything is normal up to here). All I did was scan (which happens the moment you install it), and seeing that they required credit card info for a free trial, I just closed out of everything. ![]() I didn't purchase anything or do anything wonky. I've checked all over the internet and can't seem to get an answer, so hopefully posting the question here helps. ![]()
